Microsoft appointed Andrea Della Mattea as vice president of its Asia Pacific operations.
She will be responsible for all of Microsoft’s product, service and support offerings across the region, including Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, covering over 2,000 employees and over 11,000 Microsoft certified partners.

Della Mattea leaves her position as managing director of Insight Enterprises. Prior to that, she was with Software Spectrum where she became vice president, North America sales, and managing director of Asia Pacific.
Della Mattea will report to Ralph Haupter, president, Microsoft Asia. “I am delighted we have secured a regional industry leader of Della Mattea’s calibre to accelerate Microsoft’s current momentum in the fast-growing markets of Asia Pacific,” said Haupter.
“The three unstoppable technology trends dominating our market today – the explosion of data, ubiquitous cloud computing and increasingly sophisticated software algorithms – are creating unprecedented opportunities for our customers to digitally transform. Della Mattea’s proven skills, experience and capabilities in this area will help them to achieve their goals,” he said.
Della Mattea will relocate to Singapore to assume her new role on July 1.
