Networking company, Silver Peak, has appointed Tricia Png as regional director for ASEAN to boost its Asia Pacific operations. She will be responsible for executing Silver Peak’s sales and channel strategy across the region, extending the company’s market share and growing demand for software-defined WAN, the company said in a statement.
Png rejoins Silver Peak after accumulating over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT sales, channel, and product marketing for several networking and security companies, including Blue Coat Systems (now owned by Symantec), Certis Cisco, Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks.
“There is no better time than now to rejoin Silver Peak as the fastest growing company and only vendor in the industry to deliver a complete SD-WAN solution. Silver Peak empowers distributed enterprises to fully leverage cloud services, and intelligently connect users to mission-critical applications through virtual WANs using any combination of broadband connectivity,” Png said.
“I am confident that our market expansion and growth will be fuelled by the strong business case for our SD-WAN products – unmatched performance and QoS, visibility, and security, as well as potential to reduce costs by up to 90%.”
“Asia is one of Silver Peak’s fastest growing regions with the adoption of SD-WAN technologies set to explode,” said Chris Helfer, senior vice president, worldwide sales.
“With Tricia coming back to Silver Peak, we have found a recognized sales and channel veteran with a solid track record in winning over customers and partners to achieve rapid revenue growth. Tricia’s appointment further underscores our commitment to delight customers and channel partners in these markets in which we are fast establishing leadership.”
