OutSystems, a platform provider for low-code application development appointed Mark Weaser as vice president for Asia Pacific. Weaser will be tasked to increase adoption of OutSystem’s platform among leading companies in the region.
In the past three years, OutSystem picked up over 75 new customers in Aisa Pacific, including Atos and REST Industry Super in Australia; the Philippines’ HaelthTech and Transnational Diversified Group; and, Ricoh and NCS in Singapore. It has been adding new customers annually in these markets and Japan, Hong Kong, and formed new partnerships in India, Thailand and Indonesia, OutSystems said in a statement.
Paulo Rosado, CEO of OutSystems said that Weaser has a strong regional understanding and the necessary business acumen to fuel the company’s additional growth.
Weaser brings more than 25 years of experience in senior management and business development. He held top leadership positions in prominent organisations in a variety of industries, including enterprise technology and logistics, in companies such as Qumu, Manugistics, Manhattan Associates and EXE Technologies.
